I always tell my brides and grooms in preparation for their engagement experience to plan a date. Where was your first date? What do you love to do together? Are you guys totally geeked about a certain sport? For Candice and Will it was Denver’s Wash Park. They’re frequent visitors, but had yet to experience the surreys. Yes… the surreys.

We had an absolute blast laughing all over Wash Park in this crazy little bike. Thought it wasn’t exactly “light.” You should’ve seen Will rockin’ that thing, pedaling Candice all over as she just sat on the handle bars. We even saw some mutual friends while tooling around Wash Park: Katie and Bill. And by the skin of our teeth, we returned our surrey rental on time and then headed to Bonnie Brae Ice Cream for a little dessert as it was Candice’s birthday! How cool is she? Doing her engagement pictures on her birthday. I think that’s a pretty cool gift! Candice and Will were soooo much fun to hang with. They’ve been together for twelve years and are finally tying the knot! Will has the sweetest and calming demeanor and Candice has this hilarious sarcastic streak in her. So funny!
