Happy Monday! Just a word of encouragement on this January afternoon, if you’re still waiting for Mr. or Mrs. Right. I’m sure it’s crossed your mind, as it has mine before, “What if I missed my chance? What if my soul mate came and went without realizing who he or she was? I could’ve met him on the playground or passed him on the subway and never known it.” Terrifying, isn’t it?
Thankfully, love is bigger than that.
i.e.: Matt and Aubrey.
Many years ago, there were two children, a boy and girl, in Washington. Their families were tight. They saw each other on occasion. Little did this little boy and girl know, they had met their soulmates. God had this amazing plan orchestrated for them amidst the little girl’s family’s move to the South. A decade or so passed and life had taken them to all four-corners of the country before the boy and girl reconnected to their childhood past via Facebook. After six months of dialogue and dating, the two were engaged. The support of their families has meant everything along the way and is part of what makes their relationship so strong.
I am so looking forward to Matt and Aubrey’s Atlanta, GA wedding in May. Their colors are Tiffany blue and black! Come on! You can just smell the classiness. Plus, the wedding will be at this incredible, white, plantation house… *sigh* Cant. Wait.
Without further adieu, their spectacular engagement session around Aurora and downtown Denver:

Love love love this one. Warms the heart…

Another heart warmer. Love the composition framing the bottom and side of this one.

The bench near Matt’s house where he first asked Aubrey to be his girlfriend.

A family heirloom:

Ugh, Aubrey, you are beautiful beyond words! Not an ounce of make-up, ladies and gentlemen!

Love. Those. Shoes. And their fancy shadows. :-)
