He can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles. And the heavens open every time she smiles. When he comes to her that’s where he belongs. Yet he’s running to her like a rivers song. She gives him love, love, love, love, crazy love. Yeah, she gives him love, love, love, love, crazy love…
Shes got a fine sense of humor when he’s feeling low down. And when he comes to her when the sun goes down, she takes away his trouble, take away his grief. She takes away all his heartache, in the night like a thief. She gives him love, love, love, love, crazy love. Yeah, she gives him love, love, love, love, crazy love…
Yes, he needs her in the daytime. Yes, he needs her in the night. Yes, he wants to throw his arms around her… Kiss her hug her, kiss her hug her tight.
And when he’s returning from so far away. She gives him some sweet lovin’ to brighten up my day. Yes, it makes him righteous, yes, it makes him feel whole. Yes, it makes him mellow down in to his soul. She gives him love, love, love, love, crazy love. Yeah, she gives him love, love, love, love, crazy love…
These words from Van Morrison’s Crazy Love would not get out of my head as I worked on these wedding images. Why? Because EVERY LINE is fitting to this bride and groom. The heavens really do open up every time she smiles. And mellow is exactly the feeling she delivers. He needs her. It’s obvious. In the daytime. And in the night.
Leah and Garrett Love were married on a cool, rainy September day in Denver, Colorado. As the dark clouds hovered outside her window, she didn’t flinch. She didn’t care about the weather. Faith she had as we approached the most important part of her day: seeing Garrett for the first time. And as a result of faith, the heavens did open up, stopping the rain just long enough for Leah to tap Garrett on the shoulder, and experience the excitement of seeing each other for the very first time on their wedding day… just long enough for them to experience the Crazy Love that only these two could feel….
It was a good day to be a bridesmaid as Leah gave all her girls Coach umbrellas and purses! The umbrellas definitely came in handy that day.
Jesie and I were both totally wrong on the wedding dress bet. We guessed strapless, poofy, and all sorts of beading and lace. Leah surprised us with a simple, flowing halter top dress that was absolutely drop-dead gorgeous on her.
It was only fitting that the Love Wedding was adorned with red accents:
Definitely wanted to take home that olive green couch. :)
Speaking of drop-dead gorgeous…
Mr. Love himself:
Boys will be boys.
Leah’s mom (who was also named Renee ;) was so sweet the entire day, doing everything in her power to make sure her baby had the most beautiful and perfect day ever.
I adore this shot of the junior bridesmaid getting her make up done.
A priceless first look…
Next stop: Union Station for Leah and Garrett’s oh so romantic first look.

*Sigh* I love these. They’re so soft, and quiet, and timeless. By the way, I ALWAYS vote for wedding photos :)
Rene! I love it! I did well that day not crying but seeing just these few images I am a total mess. I can’t wait to see the rest. We Love You!
Love these! My favorite is the last one, her dad’s face is absolutely wonderful! What a beautiful couple.
