St. Louis: Lauren & Justin – Part II of III

Wahoo!  Part II of the J&L series begins with Lauren’s mother’s wedding dress… I love that!

I love all the action in this shot: Groomsman #1 is perfecting the tie length and dimple, groomsman #2 is hugging mom, and father of the groom is back in the bathroom working on his tie as well.

This makes me think of a church song: “Hallelujah! Hallelujah!” lol
Lovin’ the detail shot on the left by Miss Jesie. I don’t know why but the zipping of the dress are always my favorite images.

Sister and mother of the bride.

I. Love. This. Shot!  Mark my words, Lauren and Justin have the best facial expressions!  Just wait until post III.  This is such an awesome portrait of Lauren; I can already see it on Justin’s desk.

The mother-in-law.  Or “Mama C” as Lauren affectionately calls her.

Yessss. My kind of girl.  Rockin’ the pink iPhone about to scoot out the door to her wedding.

Um.. Yeah.  Hottie pa totties.  Taken at an old courthouse in downtown St. Louis.

MY FAVORITE! If you only knew these groomsmen… they are all so collegiate and politically savvy.  Major smarty pants.  This is such a fitting photo for them.

A few quick bridesmaids shots before the ceremony.  We were running super dooper late, so we grabbed a few outside the City Museum.

Cars kept passing through the street where we were shooting… as if it was supposed to be used for cars and not photo shoots! We had to keep stepping off to the side and this shot just cracks me up.  Taken while we were waiting for trucks to pass by.

She’s a babe.  Lauren, you are so incredibly beautiful!  Your heart is so pure and it shows on the outside.

Tomorrow’s post will hold the best of the best.  The meat and potatoes.  The reason I do what I do… the bride and groom portraits.  They are so much fun, yet I almost lost my life shooting them.  :D Totally worth it though.  Check back mañana.
