I love my job!! Job? I mean, I love my career! I am so elated to share with you a THREE PART SERIES of Justin and Lauren’s St. Louis wedding extravaganza! *sigh* Do you remember J&L? Their engagement pictures were killer. You must check them out and get to know these two people. And also read up on where their ceremony was held – you’ll need some background knowledge in that area when viewing parts II and III. J&L had such a great week planned for all their guests coming into town. The wedding weekend started with a Cardinals game on the Thursday before the Saturday wedding. And they were so kind to include us at all the festivities of the weekend! So that’s where this series kicks off: Busch Stadium.

Just another day at the office…
Friday night held equally fun, if not more fun, festivities! The rehearsal dinner was one of a kind! Held at J&L’s favorite place: the Kitchen Conservatory where they regularly take cooking lessons.
So here’s out it went down… It wasn’t just a come in and have dinner kind of night. It was come in, dress up like chefs, fight for own ingredients, and work with your team and a professional chef to come up with a three course meal!
Everyone gathered around this table of ingredients and when the judges gave the go-ahead, everyone dove in to get the items on their lists.

Chop, chop, chop. :) There was a job for everyone! And kitchen areas for each team.
At the end of the evening, each team presented their food before the feast began.
This particular groomsman had the whole place rolling with his flowery presentation of his team’s courses. Justin was next to present. I loved how he started off his presentation with: “Those who cannot cook TALK.” hehe That’s for sure. ;)
