Hi there! Thank you so much for investing your time to get to know me, as well as my style of work. I’m continually honored each and every time someone asks me to be “their photographer.” What a wonderful compliment and position. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your consideration.
I suppose you’d like to know a little about me. I was born and raised in Cañon City, Colorado but now reside in the beautiful Colorado Springs. I thrive on time spent with my family and friends. When I’m not behind my Nikon D300 or my Apple Cinema Display, you may find me at the hottest concerts in Colorado, traveling the globe, practicing yoga, working out, playing guitar, volunteering with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, or reading at Starbucks while enjoying an americano.
As for photography, by the grace of God, this passion and career simply fell in my lap. It’s really an interesting story; I’d love to tell you when we meet. The bottom line is it’s absolutely amazing when you have genuine faith. When I shoot, I make sure to follow my bliss. You know, what makes me happy. My passion is to shoot those details and moments that bring a smile to my face… the way a bride-to-be places her hand in her fiancé’s back pocket, or the look a father gives his daughter at the alter, or the pastor’s grin after he says, “You may now kiss the bride!”
People photography is my favorite because of the connection I make with the individuals I view through my lens. (You landscape photographers out there – I envy you! To me, that is the most challenging style of photography, but perhaps the most therapeutic.) With over ten years in the design and photography scene, I feel so blessed to be zealously pursuing my passion. I can’t imagine not capturing memories.
My philosophy in life is simple: be optimistic. Every situation, regardless of the circumstances, is an opportunity to learn, grow, and influence others. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I’m so thankful for His sacrifice and that He’s in my life. I know I wouldn’t be who or where I am today without Him.
