Garden of the Gods Club: Patricia & Sam

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  It’s been a while since we’ve had a good blog update.  With some out of town travel and the leaves changes, it’s been a busy month!

Remember when we had all those nasty rainstorms in September?  Well, Patricia and Sam’s originally-schedule-Glen-Eyrie wedding fell right in the midst of that.  Due to the zany floods, Glen Eyrie was closed.  On about 36 hours notice, Patricia and Sam moved their wedding to the Garden of the Gods Club.  But the rain really didn’t matter.  Yes, it rained just about all day, but there was something about their wedding day that was bigger than the weather.

Patricia and Sam, like any couple, were so excited to be married.  Everything about their day was covered in their finger prints.  From the symbolism in Patricia’s earrings to the engraving in Sam’s ring to their own special version of a unity candle which incorporated both their families.  And we can’t forget the painting of the aspen tree that Patricia and Sam had commissioned to use as their guestbook.

Sam and Patricia, you two mean the world to me.  Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer.  I can’t wait to see where life takes you, Afghanistan and beyond. :-)

So much love and joy to you both.  Can’t wait to see you soon.
