engagements
What’s a better way to finish off this November than with Peri and Paul’s gorgeous fall engagement session here in Colorado Springs? These two… we clicked instantly. I could tell in our first phone conversations between myself and Peri. They are one of the sweetest couples… you know, one of those couples who laugh all the time. :-) They have these big, beautiful, full of life smiles that will light up any room. I was pleased when they brought their son, Michael, to the shoot to get a few family shots. Check these out:
Love love love these two!
Paul had us all cracking up with his modeling.
After Red Rock Canyon, we headed to the Broadmoor where Peri and Paul got engaged.
Right here on this bridge, as a matter of fact.
These next three images are my favorite from the whole shoot.
engagements, the latest & greatest
Happy Belated Thanksgiving, friends. :-) I’m willing to say that my Thanksgiving(s) were some of the best days of 2010. More to come on that. For now, here is a sneak peek of Lauren and Justin’s (remember their killer shoot from Seattle?) second engagement session here in Colorado!
Wow, the one with the massive yellow-leafed trees is stunning!
wow!!! That’s my girl!
Yay! :D What a blast these were! I can’t wait for the rest!
I absolutely love these!

Part II picks up just after the ceremony with this triumphant exit.
All time fave.
The reception at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum was outrageously beautiful! Tari and Mariah of Simply Regal Event Planning did a phenomenal job with the entire event!
A&A had the best entrance!
The advantage of having two photographers. One above and one on the ground.
Aundie’s sister sang the most beautiful song to the couple rather than a toast.
To finish the evening, Adam and Aundie exited to Taylor Swift’s song, Today Was a Fairytale. As the music played loudly outside the Bob Bullock, fireworks abounded.
And the enchanting couple left in a horse and carriage. We made a quick stop downtown near 6th and Congress for some night shots.
And because all fairy tales end this way… The End.
Wow! What a beautiful reception! Looks like it was a dream come true for them :) Great photos!
Rene I love you!!! Jesie, you too!!! That last picture says it all!! It was amazing because of the friends and family that were there!! It wouldn’t have been the same without the two of you! Thank you!!!
Absolutely beautiful! The reception was gorgeous! Absolutely A Fairy Tale Wedding.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Cinderella and her glass slippers and horse and carriage. Jasmine and her magic carpets. Belle and her big poofy dress. Sometimes fairy tales are just, well, fairy tales. They’re nothing more than a dream. A child-like, unrealistic, butterflies and rainbows dream. But in a little place called Austin, Texas, fairy tales do exist.
Her name is Aundie, short for Aundrea. His name is Adam. Their hearts are as big and bold as a finale song of a Broadway musical. And their love is as passionate and strong as those characters of a fairytale. I’m a better person for having photographed this wedding. For having been a part of Adam and Aundie’s lives. I’ve gained two life-long friends and am forever grateful for their love and support.
Adam and Aundie, you two amaze me with your spirits. Everyone who knows them, knows exactly what I’m talking about. Thank you for living and loving life (and each other!) as passionately as you do.
Enjoy.
Step 1 of a Fairytale: Have knock-out shoes.
Step 2: Add in some sparkly jewelry.
Step 3: Oh, and don’t forget the crown and gloves.
Step 5: And the big poofy dress.
Step 6: A princess.
Aundie, you are breathtaking! I love these shots Jesie grabbed of Aundie opening her gift from Adam.
Brad Paisley tickets and her University of Texas class ring.
Aundie’s mom was fabulous. Love her!
Meanwhile, let’s not forget about our prince.
Lovin’ the Kleenex Adam took to the sanctuary! Just in case!
After a few wedding party shots, it was time to head to the University Christian Church on campus at the University of Texas.
It’s just about go time and Aundie was fighting back the tears.
Aundie’s sister!
Stay tuned for part II and more fairytale goodness!
The wedding photos are stunning but not as beautiful as this little girl all grown up! I wish you both the best in all that you endeavor. Love, Jan
